GearHeds Family Poker Run 2014

The GearHeds Car Club would like to invite all of the members of SBZ and their family and friends on their Family Poker Run for 2014. Doesn't matter what you drive or ride. Come spend the day cruising and hang out with friends and family.

Here are the details

Gearheds Family Poker Run
Aug 24 2014 12:30p
Start: Hooters on Rt 4 1 card
2nd : QSL Milford 1 card
3rd : QSL Florence 1 card
4th : Greendale Cin 1 card
5th : QSL Colerain 1 card last stop.

$5 per player. If there's 20 players or more half of the money will go to a charity of the winners choice. And if there's that many players then obviously we will have to use more that one deck of cards. This is all for fun. If there's any issues pertaining to the cards at the end, then we will either split the pot or deal another card. You don't have to play to join us on the cruise. So don't hesitate to come out and meet some new people and hang out with some old friends.

This is not an official SBZ cruise.

You dont have to do the whole run. You can meet us at any stop along the way. Last years run got to sort of a fast start. We'll make sure no one gets left behind. This is not a race, its a cruise. Feel free to share it on any other websites. We hope to see you there.

THIS IS A FAMILY EVENT. Alcohol consumption by drivers before or during this event will be extremely discouraged. There are other ways to have fun than combining drinking and driving of any kind of vehicle.

I'm going to be able to make this and my brother is riding with me in my car, a guy I work with said he might go. He's got a lifted jeep wrangler that is supercharged lol. I'm in the Eastgate area if anyone wants to meet up and ride up together as well.

Someone asked a question. Can someone play multiple hands. Like if we're 4 people short of the 20, can he buy those slots since its for charity? How do you guys feel about that?

Could open the door for cheating Tommy or implied cheating. Having multiple hands in a car could allow a person/persons to combine hands for a better result. I'd hate to think someone would do that. You make the call however.

Well, we allow more than one person in a car to play. And hopefully everyone is honest. I don't think we will have a problem getting 20 people to play. The question was asked if we were short could that happen. I guess if we're short we could do what JK said and Mark the cards after each card is dealt. How do you guys feel about that?

Marking the cards for those in a group riding together is an excellent idea. I'll even provide the marker. LOL! I'd second that suggestion Tommy.
