Do they put you up against random cars and if you win you continue to the next round or do they go by your time? And do they let you do test runs before the races start? What's legal and what's not- drag radials, slicks, roll cage, etc. I'm just curious cause these are suppose to be "street" cars. I've been on second shift for 7 years now so been out of the loop for a while now.

Another second shifter. I'm finally going to days hopefully next month. Not made but maybe 6 passes in almost three years because of being on second. So I understand.

Last count I had they have two classes. 11.50 prince of the Street and 11.49 down King of the Street. Beyond that I have no idea what the rules are. Steve LX and Kennebell have both been winners on Lights out. They could tell you more.

Thanks Chad. Hopefully they chime in.

It's open track like test and tune until like 930 or so. Not sure how the rules will be this time around. I think you pretty run random cars unless you run in the fast class. They draw names out of a hat. If you dig on here you'll find their rules and classes.

There is a 13.0 and 11.50 class. DOt tire only no full slicks. Stock style suspension. No back half cars the last I heard. You enter a class, you break out or loose your done. There is no times shown only a win light. You get half a time slip after each run. Your car must pass normal tech. ie lights and cage if needed. You go off a arm drop or a flash light.

They give you a time slip. They just don't post it on the boards.

I enjoy watching the times show up on the boards as a spectator which they don't have on during this event but it's great for the driver since no one can see their times. Like Tommy said they give you a time slip at the end but only your time and not the guy racing you.

So how is it king of the street if you're allowed to run slicks? Im just trying to see what my car will do with normal street tires until my drag radials come in.

You don't have to enter in any class. You can just run during the open track time.
