Grandmas Grocery Getter 70 Challenger

I know there are some closet Mopar guys on here. Long story short my father in law bought this car in 2012 sight unseen at an auction in South Dakota. It was advertised as a 30000 mile all original 1 owner 1970 Challenger. Once it was delivered he found out the mileage was correct but it wasn't original paint. So he lost interest and I bought it from him. Its an awesome car but I really want a 71. I don't need to get rid of it. I'm just seeing if there is any interest. Its going on a few of the Mopar sites i frequent and possibly Ebay this weekend

Thanks guys. Its one hell of a car. Its on its way to my uncles shop now to get the carb issue taken care of and the exhaust adjusted and leaks eliminated. If all goes well today I plan to drive it all weekend.

I have owned so many of these back in the day. It pains me when i see one because it reminds me how i screwed up selling the 10 i had way to cheap and never could get back into one because the prices went sky high. Nice looking challenger u have here. I had a 70 purple 318 3spd vert i restored and sold. I drove the wheels off of it before i painted it and it sold to the first guy that looked at it. Those were the days. Sigh.

The Challenger has been sold. I delivered it to a shop outside of Detroit today. It will be a display car next year for Dodge at the Woodward Dream Cruise and SEMA. Drag Racer Harold Martin and his team will be doing the build.
