Thats what I was thinking. Lol

I know a guy thats going to have one available soon. He wants to sell it. He ask me what I thought it was worth. I said $2-400. Its the same as any other stock gt short block right? He was thinking he can get $1k out of it. Im not sure what they are going for.

The block alone is worth $300. If the shortblock is serviceable it would be a great upgrade for a 3v (75lbs lighter and higher compression) and could be sold for $600 IMO. The block is aluminum and the pistons have a 6cc dish compared to the earlier GTs iron block and larger piston dish volumes.

I think you meant to say upgrade for a 2V.
I have a complete engine with low miles on it that I've tried to sell for a few years now for 1200 bucks and can't get rid of it, so I've decided to just use it instead.
