Wow Chad, looks great. One of the last real things I got to do with my mom before she passed last August was to take her to Myrtle Beach for her 55th Birthday. She spent everyday on the beach. Enjoy!!!

Saw this on Monday...It's about 35 minutes North of us. Bodie is 10 minutes away and Hatteras is 50 minutes south. This one is Currituck (sp)

Headed home. OBX Nags Head is a great place to vacation for a week especially if you have a dog. There are no restrictions on when dogs are allowed on the beach. Most other beaches in that area only allow dogs before 9:00am and after 6:00pm. Of course Nags Head does require leaching at all times and cleanup after pet.

Weather for the week was great through Thursday. It rained all morning Friday but made for a nice evening all the same.

Plenty to do in the area. Lighthouses to see, parks to visit, beach, piers, Lost Colony, Elizabethan Gardens, golf, fishing, eating, wind sailing, surfing at Hatteras, etc. The beach house was awesome as well. Had a 50" LCD screen, game room, 3 full bedrooms, Full kitchen setup, direct access to the beach and the list goes on.

Dining in OBX compared to other areas of coastal NC like Emerald Isle is a bit on the high side comparatively.

Final photos on the review for this vacation idea...

Shelby FINALLY going into the water on the fourth day. Bodie Island Lighthouse. A great trip overall. There are all different levels one can enjoy this trip from beach mansions (huge gigantic rental homes) to condos and lower cost housing. Cooking meals at the house also can greatly lower the outgoing cash.

I'm sure that is a memory that will make you smile for a lifetime Shayne. Glad she was able to go with you before she passed.
