I went and purchased a 1988 ssp coupe today. It does need work. Then I came home and started looking on craigslist and it did nothing but piss me off.
I must have missed the part that mustang parts started being made by gold. I kind of want to push this car off a cliff now.

I will say it first. ls1:rolleyes:

Cars are like women when your single. Its all about the excitement of the chase, then when you finally get your hands on them you cant wait to get rid of them.

Everyone is trying to get the most out of what they can nowadays... and especially the most they can out of stuff thats truly junk. Swap meets especially. I have parts on CL, and yes, I pad the price a little... but its because I dont think I've ever had a CL deal go without getting beat down on price on something that I didnt even want much for to begin with. Its silly. So if they wanna nit pick, they'll nit pick me to the price I really wanted for it to begin with. lol

So lets see pics of the SSP...

That's funny you say that, because the husband was just talking about this. Trying to find parts here and there for my car, getting stupid expensive!

I was truely shocked. Just rear coupe trunk interior, and rear seats. Maybe door panels. Rf fender. Maybe a rear trunk lid with no holes. Just dumb stuff really

Just curious do you know what agency used the SSP?

I like to track them is why I ask.

I'd just pick up a fiberglass trunk lid man. Try searching around on corral.net too. Tons of good fox parts over there.

Oh and where's the pics? :D

ill get pics up when I fix some things. its pretty ugly right now. if I would have just kept my parts from the other 36 Foxbodys I have owned I would be set. I ran the vin and the first place it was ever transferred to was Georgia. the car still has the light mount on the car too lmao. getting help with finding out where the coupe started would be awesome.

Hoarding parts and waiting on insane prices, it is the new thing.

Everything is MINT and would bring $$$$ on Barrett Jackson.....

Wait until the parts you need are NLA, No Longer Available as the car is old enough for antique plates.
