I got to watch Shannon and Steve make some good passes last night, congrats. So I decided to make a fun pass for myself and well, other than just smoking the tires through 1st and 2nd gear I tore up the trans and something in the rear diff. Sounds like a good opportunity to do some upgrades.

Dag Shayne. But look at it this way . At least today when you walked through your dining room to sit down in your living room you did not witness a 3ft x 12ft section of your ceiling cave in with 6+ inches of blow insulation and 70 years worth of crap in the attic. Not kiddng. It was like watching an episode of myth busters when they have a remote camera in something that they are going to blow up. Been shoring up the ceiling and cleaning since 1:00pm today just after I had finished mowing the yard.

So how bad is the damage on the tranny and diff? Any chance to look into it yet? Hopefully it will be something minor that acts major. I had a tranny lock up on me once driving up the street. Turned out to be a bolt or something that came loose and lodged between the input shaft and the casing or something (it was 20+ years ago). Only way you could start the car back up was with the clutch pushed in. Neutral on in gear if you released the clutch it would stall out the engine and go nowhere.
You've sure had your fair share of setbacks pal. Lets hope that this season is your big comeback.

Have not yet been able to do anything, need to free up some room first. I was anticipating on cleaning up the garage this weekend to do something but it just didn't happen.
