Honestly, unless you're going to war, you're not likely to run into any issues with even the bottom tier rifles.

As long as you have good mags and an in-spec bolt/buffer/spring, you'll be good to go.

Bingo. It will shoot fine. I have some that I paid 12-1500 for and I have a pistol I build for around 500 and they all shoot the same. The stag I have is a lot "tighter" of a gun than the pistol but they all function the same

I saw this too. It is really hard not ordering 2. As soon as shit hits the fan again for whatever reason, sell one for a grand and keep yours for free.

They have it right now lowest of 6.87 a box.. I just got 500rds ak ammo. They had it on sale. I paid 4.87 per 20. Cheapest I found it. Sign up and they change sales and will email you the changes.. I have seen .223 at $5 before on a sale

slickguns.com has an ammo inventory tracking that is updated live. Shows whats in stock at what price all over the country. AIM is usually in the top 1 or 2 of the cheapest but I buy from places out of state because its cheaper to pay no tax and have it shipped right to my door than it would be to go pick it up from AIM

If you follow James Yeager or Tactical Response on Facebook, they usually post deals on ammo. About a month ago they posted factory 5.56 brass case for $300/1000 and 9x19 $250/1000.
