I've got a 2003 Ranger Edge with a 3.0 that has 140K miles but this thing is nice and well cared for, It started shifting hard 1-2 and the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts seem too early. Then there is no kickdown to passing gear.
I've done some research and it seems these are plagued with valve body issues. Has anyone delt with this and what was your fix? I'm tempted to just toss a new VB on it and see if that fixes it but I don't have a lift.
