Anyone know what happened? They look like they shut down. What ever happened to the MD tractor trailer that sat there forever?

Steve Poe ended up with the MD truck and trailer.

Was up in Milford this morning picking up my truck after it had been side swiped during that snow a week ago Sunday. Was told Easy Street is history and that there is a community church opening on that property.

A church bought the property, they shut down, but kept their mechanics to work on their personal cars.

Me and Brian bought the dyno, Steve Poe got the trailer

A month or so ago it shut down. First rule of business, make more than you spend. Rent on that building was OUTRAGEOUS!!

I pass there everyday on my way to work. Couldn't tell if it was ever open. The big lease or for sale sign on the highway side of the property prob didn't help much. That location needed all sorts of signs and things going on to attract walk in traffic.

I think it was close to $20k/month ? I don't think they were netting anything near that per month.

When we (MD) moved in there our expenses nearly doubled but our ability to generate income went down. We were running with fewer mechanics than we had at MD and we were not allowed to fix the website in order to sell the parts volume we needed to. Our advertising was nearly non-existent and there was no firm plan to grow the business.

I couldn't understand their thinking and have wondered if they ever intended to make money with the business.

It's a little sad, some of us worked our asses of to try and make both places successful but never had the support we needed to do it.
