What is the proper width rim for a 27X10.5 MT ET Street??? (255-60-15). I would like for it to fit properly on an 15x8 but if it has to go on a 15x10 for best fit I'll do it. Going with this size tire because it is the ONLY one I can find that retains a 27" diameter. Everything else is 26 or 28, unless I go Nitto DR's on 18's.
If 15x10 does anyone know if the relocation kit for the panhard bar is required or is there a wheel that will clear that on a 2013 GT Mustang??? Thanks.

I beleive it would be a 15 x 8 it would be too narrow for a 10" wheel, my 275's look a little narrow on a 10" wheel.

It depends on the tire manufacturer mickeys fit good on a 10" wheel but nittos look a little stretched because they are made narrower, but mine are 17". I think 1badlx runs a 255/60/15 on a 7" wheel and the fit looks perfect maybe he will chime in

I use that all the time. Does not help with rim width. MT never specified RIM WIDTH.

Sorry jason couldnt remember what size wheels u were running but the tires fit perfect on the wheels, they dont look too narrow or bubbled way out from the wheel being too small.

Thanks guys. I was hoping I could use 8 inch rims and not have to deal with the dreaded relocation kit for the panhard bar that come into the equation on S197 setups and running 15x10 rims.
I plan to go race stars and 255-60-15 MT ET Streets then. The 275 60 series re 28's too tall and the 275 50's are 26's and are too short. This will work fien for what little track time I will be seeing with the car on an occasional TT night. Its all just for fun nd to be safe while doing it.
Thanks again.
