What the fuck? I got all excited to finally be able to have a car reliable enough to go this year AND be financially stable enough to go. so I get on today to look at hotel rooms and register my car, but the info sucks. The Hot Rod website/forums is a joke, won't even work on the computer. The forum pages are essentially non - functional because when you go to click on the something it automatically clicks on something from the drop down box above it. The family events page where you register still says the prices are good until May 21st FUCKING 2013! And on top of that it doesn't say whether the $80 registration fee is good for the whole tour or just one show. Who the fuck would spend that much on car shows in one week? You KNOW these som bitches ate making enough money they don't need to charge 80 bucks a damn show. And WITH all the money they're making you'd thing they be able to have an updated website! I have found ONE "help" button and it doesn't contain any contact info. Just FAQs.
I still want to go because of the experience but I just wish these fucking organizers would get their shit together.

I've been to multiple legs of the power tour. Its $80 for the long hauler pass. $25 per day if you just want to go to be at one stop. Hotrod.com has a forum devoted to the power tour. Its actually a pretty well planned event considering 2000+ cars roll into a town in less than 5 hours. Its always a good time. I searched the locations of the 2 stops I'm going on this year, got on expedia.com and searched the nearest , nicest hotels and booked my rooms. $105 per night at the Hampton. Now I just have to get the car ready.

I tried the website from a different computer and it must have been my computer at work because it works ok now. but when I went to register no matter where you clicked on as your starting point it still said $80. And it still had the "deadline" from last year so I don't even know what the deadline is this year. Hotrod.com has threads with 300 posts and I really don't feel like digging through it all just for some info that should be readily available. Granted for the 2-3k cars they have I'm sure the tour itself is much better, but the pre-planning if youve never been to one is subpar. I'll create an account on the site and see if i can get some clarity.
