Gonna run charge wire to battery in trunk so cut off switch functions properly. What gauge with 100amp alternator? 6-8ga?

The ones I get from PA are bigger than that. I would think 6ga would work tho. With charge wires tho, bigger is better the longer they are.

You talking bout battery cable or charge wire? I have 1-0 welding cable from battery to solenoid

charge wire. I'd have to snap a pic of it, but I believe it is about 4 to 6 gauge, the wire they supply with the PA kits. I'm just going by eye, so I could be off.

I have a 4g wire was my old battery cable I could use then just put smaller eyelet lug on it. Was gonna put a power lug under dash for easier hookup of gauges ignition etc. This would work good just put msd on relay so shut off w key an disconnect without bleed thru

Sounds like a good plan. Should work well, and never get hot or eat up amperage.
