BEETLE JUICE

Well my dad and I have been building this car for awhile now. Now we are finally on the home stretch an I figure its a good time to put this up on the site. We are building a 58 beetle with a 97 mustang 4.6 liter, five speed, 9'' rear end w/4.10 gears and a Detroit locker. We have built the entire car chopped the roof extended the front end 6"s built the frame and cage all the paint and body work. It has taken a long time for us but I have hopes of it hitting the pavement this spring. Thanks guys I got a lot of work done yesterday. Most of the wiring is finished inside the car. I got the brake lights headlights and turn signals working still have to make final connections. It's also running again with the new fuse panel and ignition. Ordered the drive shaft from strange today.

Thanks Brian we have been working at it pretty steady. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I get the exhaust on it and the snow melts I can get it over to my garage and on the rollers. I'll hit you up to get it tuned in.

Today we got the engine harness stripped out and cleaned up. Everything in the engine compartment is wired the only thing left up front is the head lights. I mounted my battery box and started running the battery cables.

We have all the wiring ran except the headlights and a few switches. Finished running brake lines and the clutch lines. Blead the brakes and clutch. Installed driveshaft finished making a few brackets for fuel lines. This Hot Rod is totally Bitchin!!!

I've seen this ride take a lot of transitions throughout it's build. Every inch has been thought out, worked, customized, etc... To make it a killer one off ride. John & his Pops have been doing kick ass work and their craftsmanship on this Hot Rod prooves so.

You wouldn't happen to know a guy around Columbus that has a small block bug would ya? I was working in Hilliard last Fall and we heard a pretty healthy car rumbling around downtown and expected to see an old Camaro or Nova and WTF it turned out to be a bright orange bug and I believe it had wheelie bars on?

Thanks guys we took it to a vw show on sunday at kil-kare and got first place in our class and best paint.
Started driving it around the house a little trying to get the bugs worked out of it. Still have to redo the window regulators and have the window glass installed in the doors then it should be done
