Coming home a few days ago I drive across a street that has two lanes merging about 1/8 mi to my right. Popular place for people who try to show off. I get stopped at the stop light and a riced out civic pulls up to my left driving across in the right lane (the one that ends) next to a new Hyundai Elantra. Light turns green they both hit it, Hyundai starts pulling on him and starts teasing him. Even by the time the civic drives across the intersection, he's losing and getting pissed. Ends up getting stuck not only behind the Hyundai, but behind about 4 other cars who were behind him.
