You might want to get a hold of DirtyDog, I've seen several good reviews on his convertors on other forums.

Dirty dog or ptc I just got a c4 converter from dirty dog but only drove it around the block once today, but I had a ptc 3000 stall in my AOD and it worked great

I was kind of hoping for a used one. I don't want to shell out a ton of money for one because I plan on changing my setup. I have heard good things about dirt dog

Not many people run the AOD's so it might be hard to find a good used one

If anything you'd have better luck on the Corral. Way more parts in their classifieds.

I had a Precision in my car and it was great. I might try one of Alan's this time. Edge seems to have a pretty good AOD converter too. I thought your car had a stall in it already ?

Unfortunately used aod converters that I will resell are few and far between, most come in like the tci units with the stock front covers that balloon like crazy and get parted out. You need a 9.5 inch converter to get more than about 2500 stall on an aod. Some 10 inch units can do it but they are few and far between. I'm planning on trying to make a mid level 10 inch unit for people not wanting to go to the 9.5 inch units in the near future but currently the billet cover 9.5 inch units are the only way to do it right. Whatever you find if it has the stock front cover leave it be. They are good to build very mild street units but if performance is the goal they really never work well, the stock front cover is paper thin to make room for the twin input shaft and damper. I do need cores if anyone has any laying around, they aren't worth much but better than scrapping them.

Alan , do you ever run specials or any discounts? Like on this one

Just curious. I'm going to have one built before spring.

Alan I have some stock AOD converters sitting around colllecting dust. Maybe we can work some thing out for a trade on another reverse drum and diode?
