Question I plan on running w/m injection on my stock long block turbo car... Relatively safely. If I tune with it do I have to always use it under boost or can I wire it to a switch? My plan is to use it on high boost but with low boost turn it off... Is this possible? Or will it jack up my tune to much

You could use a controller with a built in MAP sensor, it would start the meth pump at whatever psi you set it to. I have one I could send you pictures of tomorrow. It's on a shelf in the garage.

Ok so I'm tryin to figure out if I can wire it to a toggle switch... When I turn down the boost to like 300rwhp turn off the kit. And when I'm racing turn up the boost and turn on the meth kit. Has any one done this with a toggle switch?

if you use a pressure sensor the kit would do that automatically for you

Just run it off a hobbs switch or progressive controller.

Quick question, 400rwhp stock long block maybe gt40 heads... Would 42lb injectors and a stealth 340 fuel pump work for e85 or do you guys think the injectors are too small?

Ur thinking too much, 400hp u don't need the meth injection or e85 to be safe, need 42# inj, stealth 340 pump for growth, lightning MAF and a good tune! Then u are ready to go buy gas at any station and run the balls off it.

400rwhp though is getting close to that accepted safe limit.

There is no safe limit to anything when it comes to boost, just a few lbs of boost can junk a motor If the tune is off.

True...I'm going through s&m so I hope that's the right direction people seem to be pretty happy. I just thought that it being so close to the limit meth could save it from that detonation and splitting the block

U could make 500-550 on a stock block but then it becomes a time bomb 400 shouldn't be hard to make and be reliable, I would like to add some boost as well but I am strapped for cash right now with my wife being laid off. I'm using my dollar stretcher right now! LOL!!!

If this video works it's my buddy Kent's car, stock shortblock, ported e7's (by me), e-cam, trick flow street heat intake and a on3 kit with the china turbo

What is your experince with porting e7 heads? Im debating on getting some gt40s junkyard then doing valve job. Should run about 270 for the heads and machine work. How ever I have e7 heads that i've already done machine work/ valve job too and im ordering new springs. So How much do you normally charge to do a port job and whats your experince. If you don't mind me asking.

I've only ported a few sets so I'm no pro I've just experimented using tmoss's guide to porting but they have turned out pretty nice but I think gt40 heads are the way to go

For the money, GT 40 heads are the way to go. Even if you have to put a little bit of money into them to freshen them up. Personally I would never put money into a set of factory heads, when you can pick up the GT 40s as cheap as you can.
