In 2006 I saw a Cobra R in the parking lot of Willies sports Cafe on Mason Montgomery Rd. Only one I have ever seen in person in my life. I'm pretty certain it was real. If it was a clone they did an exceptional job and fooled me. It was a D code car so even if it wasn't really an R they made a clone out of a real 93 cobra. I wanted to wait for the guy or go into Willies and ask who the car belonged to but I was with my now wife that I had only been dating a few weeks at the time and didn't want her to think I was a weirdo. She clearly didn't know how cool and rare of a car it was. I'd almost bet that was this car. With only 107 of them made be pretty unlikely of two of them running around this area.

Also my wife knows I'm a weirdo now and has been with me many time when I've chased somebody down to ask about their car or bike and try to buy it.

If I was ever lucky enough to hit the lottery , my dream garage would include all 3 cobra r's . That's funny mike , ive never seen a 2000 cobra r in person , been up close and personal with the other two.

Mine is a 2000 R. I have looked at and touched 1. I have seen 3.

It was nice that the seller was honest about it being hit, but repaired at no expense spared. Even though the front bumper is a shade off on the paint. Hell if I had the money it wouldnt stop me from buying it.

The pic of the spare tire also makes me happy to know a factory 17" wheel fits in the spare tire well... for future reference :D
