I don't care for it. And I bet the Aussie's are mad that it replaced their beloved Falcon....

Front end is "meh", rear is horrible. I think I'd like it if it was an exotic car. The lines remind me of an Aston Martin. Not a muscle car.

I don't think that's it... just looking at the magazine to the spy photos it seems that some things are off between the two. We will all know tomorrow.

To Quote Ricardo Montalban sort of, "LOOK WHAT THE HELL THEY DID TO MY CAR!!!!"
Good freaking grief. Inside is so busy a person would wreck from the distractions of all the trim crap. The side view of the car looks like an Orthopedic Sandal. The rear looks like someone glued an after market rear valence on it stolen from an episode of Fast-n-furious. The front looks like it was designed in Asia. The car is a eurotrash piece of crap on wheels. All it needs to complete the euro metamorphasis cloning process is parallel parking assist, paddle shifting, and, collision avoidance braking. I can't believe a hybrid option is not coming...or will it???
Appears to me that Ford has a bunch opf copy cat engineeers that only know the click/copy/paste functions on AUTOCAD. Its time R/D divisions removed the computers and handed the young aspiring engineers a compass, a pencil, some paper and a drawing board and proverbially sent them back to it...THAT MEANS ACTUALLY DESIGN SOMETHING NOT COPY A LITTLE FROM EVERYONE ELSE! YUCK!!!!!!
To end on a good note. At least its not as hideous as the Pontiac Aztek was.

Uh yes this is it. The magazine edition shiped early by accident prior to the Dec 5 release as an article on SVTP states.

The rendering I seen is a base car. I think it's cool but will have to wait and see and drive one in person. 200 lbs lighter it will out handle accelerate and brake the current model. A portion of people that bad mouth the design will end up owning one lol. If a new model was perfect why would I mod it? I can't leave a Mustang stock!

There was a rendering of a the new Mach1 coming out that looked similar and really didn't look too bad from the front. I kinda figured the 13/14s would be it and I think I'll eventually look for a 14 GT500 because that car is sorry.

I'm really liking what I see. The more I see of it the more I like it. I've seen a video and a couple other better pics and I think it looks pretty damn good. Cant wait to see it in person

I don't think it looks too bad, it will need to grow on me though.....
At least they've gotten away from the retro theme somewhat. It's now a global car, so it has to have some appeal for everybody, not just North America.
I hope it sells like crazy !!!!

I thought that's why people in other countries bought American cars. Because they were American cars, everything is too homogenized in this world.

I wish they kept the '14 styling and simply shedded the weight, and added the IRS.

Was talking about it at work with a couple of guys who have seen it in person. They say it's even better in the flesh.
I want one.

I still say those magazine pictures are different than the photos from Ford. Magazine pictures make everything look out of proportion.

I like the actual car itself, but not convinced that it shouts muscle car or mustang. I know it's a global car and all, but when we said we wanted ford cars to be global we were really only talking about the Focus RS and ST lol. It will def have to grow on me, which when the Sn197's came out I wasn't sold on them either, I don't know why because now I love them so we will see.

Twin Turbo 4 banger or 300HP V6 or Monster V8 with Independant Rear suspension. If this little beast is much lighter than the current 2014's you have my attention. (And its still rear-wheel drive!)
I think this body style will have lots of room for customization (think Boss with front splitter on low hanging arm dam), rear fender flares, big meats.....it could get exciting!

IMO hate the head lights and the center of the dash. love the rest of the car. head lights resemble the Taurus or Fusion. Almost heading away from the the Muscle car appearance to more a European.... what's next AWD? I guess I need to see one in person.

Roush rep I spoke to today dislikes it as well. Agrees it needs to stay anj American muscle car and not a european global touring sport sedan. needless to say I share his opinion.
The Ford salesrep was not so quick to agree. can't blame him, his living comes from them and has to up sell the good side to whatever Ford throws out there. He stated he already has 4 orders from buyers this morning...but followed up by saying that these 4 buyers would purchase a FWD Taurus if a Mustang badge was placed on it. LOL!
So I guess we will see.

I dig it! Looks great & 200lb weight reduction. I might actually think of replacing the Mach with a '15+ GT . . .

That would put a lot of Evo and STi Owners in their place lol. Next on the list would be the GTR.

Hopefully you put yours up for sale rather than trade it in........ might be the only mach I'd ever consider buying.......

LOL! I'm not leaning that far, yet, and if at all. And I would sell it, but most likely won't. Even after 10 years I love just looking at the darn thing, as well as driving it. (Plus, I just got a new FRPP aluminium driveshaft and am about to order some Bilsteins for it.) Though the new one does have me intrigued.

I couldn't find any data on 2012 but in 2011 the big 3 exported over 800,000 US manufactured vehicles. I'd say somebody is buying them, with China and Saudi Arabia being two of the largest growing markets.

Out of a total guessing maybe 12-13 million vehicles built? 800,000 is only about 6%

That doesn't include vehicles manufactured outside the US, even at 6% that's a shit ton of vehicles. You ever count to 800,000.
