So I had a guy do the cardinal sin and ran his F350 out of fuel on the freeway last night . Called me and asked me to come out and jumpstart him after he walked to the exit to get fuel . Couldn't get him started , too cold and if you have ever run a diesel out of fuel you know what a bitch it is to start. Offered to drag him to the next exit and shell station (about a mile and a half) . He was skeptical but I thought the truck could do it . Didn't really wanna leave him sitting on the side of the road in 20 degree weather. I didn't ask him for a total weight but the old ecoboost never coughed once and the tranny temp never got over 190 . I was pretty impressed .
