Bill, their web site says they are closed for the season.
Since the weather has turned so cold at night and the pipes will freeze
we are going to have to close for the season. ..............

Nope, just called them at 4:00pm and they said they are done for the season due to frozen water pipes. I even offered to bring my own water. I even told them I was running on street tires and didn't need water in the burn out box. No luck.

Going to be a long winter waiting now.I'm shooting way down south 180 miles one way to Clay City the 24th T&T, I've been numerous times great people, great food and an awesome track...I think I've twisted Chad's arm to take the Smurf down!, if it's possible you should try to make it. http://www.mpdragway.com/schedule.htm

I've ran there a couple years ago with UMTR but thats a long trip when I dont really even know if my car will make a pass yet. I literally am just getting to where it can try and go down the track. I havent even had it out on the road at all.

Yes....Mt. parkway dragway in clay city is still running...Sun 11/24 is their final t&t noon to 5.
London is done with t&t for the year....have to maybe go to bowling green for a 1/4 mile track to be open longer.

Hey guys I've been out of the country awhile and would live to try Clay City on Sunday. How is the prep there on Sundays especially on a cold day? Is it tri skate caliber or even tolerable? Would hate to drive all the way down for nothing.

Would hate to drive all the way down for nothing.Clay City is a great track that hooks in cold weather unfortunately it was too cold this weekend and they are closed. http://www.mpdragway.com/ as a side note if you're hardcore/diehard...Cecil in Maryland and Atco in New Jersey both run till mid December....I've done it 14 years ago (Atco) and may just do it again. ;)
Peace :cool2:
