You decided to get out of the .45 acp game and sold all the goods.
You have $1,000 to spend and don't want a new caliber so you are left with:
7.62x39
.223
.270
.30-.30
9mm
.40
.357sig
10mm
.38 special
.22
12 gauge
What do you do?
I am torn:
Glock 35 or 20sf and done up nice by
www.mod1firearms.com
Sigs, HKs, Beretta 92.
So many choices

Seems like every time I look there is plenty of 40 cal on the shelf when nothing else is left. 9mm is hard to find just like 380. 357 sig would be interesting and different. Tough call. Personally I'd spend it on my car. I enjoy g-force more than recoil. It is a close second however :D

I choose 40 S&W for a reason, wouldn't use it to hunt though.
I have a S&W 686 scoped for that :)

You have a lot of great options. If you are wanting a race gun or something custom talk to Andrew at Weibold Gunsmithing (513) 600-9097. He does great work and know his firearms. He built my G17L limited gun, currently has my Volquartsen 10/22, and is building me a 2011 open gun chambered in 9mm. I'm a big fan of the SAO Sig 226, Beretta 92fs, and the EAA witness after they get some custom work. :bigthumb

The Sigs have gotten me again.
Picked up a Swiss made 2022 with no rail. Those that know Sigs understand the oddity here as the 2009 is the Swiss made gun and the 2022 is the US made gun with rail and squared trigger guard.
Picking up a 239 later this week as well.

I know you will. Just to spite me.
If they had better slide stippling to get my meat hooks to grab the slide, and a better grip angle,I would probly own one. I just cant get one to feel good in my hands.
I will say that I really want to shoot your 17L. As soon as I am able to walk again without a cane or crutch's we can head out to my dads for a day of pistol and long range shooting.

Sounds like a plan. The grip angle is most peoples complaint but one of my favorite features. It forces you to roll your wrists forward. You should love it, it makes it harder to limp wrist them. :flipoff:
