Terminator Cruise '13

I would like to invite the members of SBZ to come out on Oct 13 2013 for a cruise to honor 2003-2004 SVT Cobras otherwise known as Terminator Cobras. But this cruise is not limited to just Terminator Cobras. Everyone is invited. It doesn't matter what you drive. Feel free to bring your family and friends. If you know someone that has a hotrod, don't hesitate to invite them. Feel free to share this cruise on any website you want. We had a decent turnout last year and had an awesome time. Don't have a ride or your car isn't done yet? Jump in with someone. Im sure there will be open seats in someones car. This may be your last chance to get out and have some fun this year. You don't have to do the whole cruise. You can just meet at one of the 3 stops. But the first leg of this cruise is something you don't want to miss. And I bet there will be some roll racing on the second leg. This is not an official SBZ cruise. None of this is set in stone. If you have a suggestion don't hesitate to voice your opinion. Well I've got a pretty decent camera that will be in my car on the cruise and I'll have my step brother video anyone who wants to be on it, just have to figure out a way to make it on there my self haha...maybe he can ride with you for a minute and see what that cobra is all about lol. But the camera has pretty good quality it's the one I used for the video in my thread about my car.

At the moment there is only a chance for a late shower Sunday. Hopefully that means after dark. Temps in the low 70's for the day. This was a blast last year. Cruising through downtown and then out Columbia PKWY. I will be toting the action Cam for the run. I may even pick up a low end HD cam from Best Buy on Saturday.

Its for boost control. The car makes 544 HP on the small 4psi waste gate spring alone. By applying say 20 psi to the top of the wastegate it forces it shut longer acting.like a bigger spring and makes 1028 on 18 psi. The holley dominator has built in boost control solenoids that use that co2 pressure to regulate the gate and can create a ramp rate in boost based of several engine parameters. For traction purposes

gotcha. Its a pilot pressure source for control. I was thinking that you may be using it in place of NO2. I just saw something on that. Thanks for the feedback. Can't wait to see this setup on Sunday.

Basically like a progressive nitrous controller. I can launch at 4 psi and command the co2 to ramp boost to 18 psi by 1.9 seconds into the run. It then applies co2 pressure via solenoids to create that ramp rate. You can create ramp rates based off gear selection, speed , time or rpm

Its just like the ams 1000 which uses co2 also but the holley system has boost control option built right in. it is the boost controller. Instead of like a Manila controller which just bleeds off pressure to manipulate the waste gate. You can start with a very low waste gate spring pressure and force any amount of co2 to the top of the gate and the ecu and solenoids control that whole operation

Trust me, I understand - my personal beliefs are entirely contradictory to the current situation, and it's a double edge sword for me. To get paid and take care of my obligations/savings, they'll have to hash something out; but I am quite glad that checks and balances are (to some minor amount) somewhat working.

Unfortuantely I can't do this job with a private party paycheck, and I love the military life too much to be perfectly honest. If I could be in the Air Force but get paid through a private company, I'd jump all over that. Animal is on a bit of a hold in the mean time for this very reason, and that I don't have a place to work on cars in the mean time either. I'll probably McGiever something to get my front end up in the air and get the intercooler installed, but after that I'm at a stand still.

Mike stopped over while we loading it up. He was fine but the car wasn't. At least he can come back to race another day. All else fails, we'll put the 85 back together.

Thanks everyone for coming out today. Gearheds and SBZ members all hada great time. Only two minor casualties. Rusty had a small glitch with his clutch b\cable downtown and Adam lost a alternator mount. Otherwise a great cruise and great weather. We terrorized some road yet again. And ate FOOD!!!!!! I am hoping for a deep indian summer this year. Lets not make this our last hoorah!

The 2-tone car is a beast. I have put a lot of work and $$$$$ into the car but I have to give credit to jimssvt and Adam at S&M. Jimmy is an awesome fabricator/ builder- the car has his signature all over it, and Adam did a helluva job wiring it up, getting me tuned and back on the road.

I was laughing my rear end off and grinnign like a little school girl.

All I heard was exhaust coming up on my left, and a screamin' Eaton coming up on my right - beautiful exhaust notes as you both passed me.

I'm looking forward to getting the 2.1L on. Just tieing up little details now and saving up extra cash for the tune I'm going to need, and then it starts. :D
