Check this out. An all metal body all Ford hot rod roadster. From the body to the frame to the 9 inch rear end to the 460 CID 4V out of a 1975 Lincoln Mark V. And man will she run like a raped ape. And yes this guy airs it out. He ain't some grandpa who putts around with it. Next step he says will be a 544 setup.

My bad. I knew it wasn't a classic 32 roadster but wasn't sure what to call it. Sure would love to see that A pickup completed some day. A friend's dad redid one many many years ago. Don't know what ever became of it. Heck he owned 84 mustangs alone in his 78 years on earth, not to mention his love for cougars, or anything else with the Ford logo on it. Only knew of him to have owned one non Ford car his whole life. His wife talked him into it. That never happened again. LOL!

Hey no problem! Ive been wanting a 5 window coupe for a while but I figure I have enough projects to last me a life time without getting into another one! One of these days I will finish the pick up!!!

Oh I know I do too! I just can't afford them! 3-5k right off the bat for a body is not a cheap project.... then to fab a chassis, suspension.... whole 9 yards.... I'll have 30k in it before it even had paint (not that id paint it anyway)

You can find the bodies pretty cheap rusty. I think I only have about 600 in my cab, 300 in the bed, and a frame for 100. Then its just fab work from there, a junkyard 302 and C4 which don't run a whole lot of cash, and an 8.8. Its not as bad as you'd think. Mike priced a custom frame to me for $2500 which aint bad.
