Not too bad for a concept. If they keep it.

I actually like the car, but it shouldn't be called a Mustang. The mustang has always seemed to have it's own style instead of sharing body lines like the new fiesta, focus, and fusion do. I'd call this car a Shelby Edition Ford Fusion. :) The front just doesn't scream muscle car. Putting that front end on a mustang style body just makes it look like an Aston Martin.

I like that.
Should help a lot with GM sales.
The thing looks like its squinting and also looks like every other Ford on the road.

Id rock it. The global brand identity is displayed and it still looks good. When they went retro in 05 they didn't really have an exit strategy. The one ford design platform leaves them with a direction to go. Selling retro styling worked for a while but that horse has been beaten to death and after a decade of tracing 60's styling its time to make it modern again. I'm glad for the change. The old school styling is timeless and people like to look @ them, just not always drive them. If they don't keep it fresh and sales fall it may get sent to the glue factory. I don't care for the new fusions much but think this front end is a good balance of grill opening without looking like the face of a whale shark.

Looks almost identical to an Aston Martin DB9 to me.

Last I heard "from FORD" was that there was going to be an NA GT350, a V8, a turbo/ na v6, and POSSIBLY a turbo 4cyl and a Mach 1 in 2016. But the ford guy said they're "still exploring the demand for a 4cyl". Ill try to find the article.
