Looks like the cruise will meet at the rest area in Florence, KY at 0800 on Saturday September 28th. Mike (jeep45238) are going to meet at the Waffle House in Miamisburg on 741 at 0630 for all who want to go. We'll figure out somewhere to meet up with the cincy guys and all roll down together. If anyone is interested in going but doesn't have a ride, I'll have an open seat. Just give me a PM or text

Just a ollow up on this. Everyone is meeting at the Florence I-75S rest area at 8:00am. It will be packed you can bet. They will be pulling out of there @ 9:00am. This power cruise is running from 5-6 different cities. It should be a very good time.

MAKE SURE you are gassed up and ready to roll when you get there. Won't be any stopping of the group along the way. The drive from Florence will be a solid 2.5 hours. So be ready.

Guess staying with the main group depends on if the main group is doing 50 or 70 in a 65 zone.

GEARHEDS!!!! Post up on our site if you are going to this event. We need a head count and to know who to look for at the I-75S Florence rest area. I will be there by 0830 at latest.

Honestly with the potential .gov shutdown looming on the horizon, I'm pinching my pennies more than Scrooge. If we do hit the shutdown deadline my paychecks will be pushed back until the .gov gets moving again, until then I'll get IOU's in the mail. Going on the cruise in that situation is fiscal stupidity on the nth degree.

That said, if it gets averted before Saturday rolls around (knowing politicians, not likely), I'll be coming along.

The folks are both working that day and won't be able to make it, much as they would like to.

dammit this is killing me. I wish I could go.... BUT this weekend I will be working with the Army and if all goes right it will guarantee my spot. So THAT means, new engine and trans before spring! :)

I might be snagging some wood planks and getting my front wheels up on a curb to remove the front bumper and install the water/air intercooler if I don't go. Easy peasy to do your H pipe as well if you want to after you're done with the trailer.

The tank is full, A coat of Carnuba wax has been put on the front half for the haul, the cleaning rags are drying in the dryer and I am ready to roll!!!

Clean roads, good air, and sunny skies!!! Oh and hopefully few bugs.
