Looking for a reputable plaster ceiling repair professional.
Thought the crack in the livingroom ceiling was simply that. Turns out the sheet rock that the plaster is attached to is pulling away fro mthe ceiling joists. There is a 1" - 1.5" belly in the one area. Looking for a person with PLASTER ceiling repair experience specific to sheet rock style (Not wood lathe) construction. I tried using plaster washers today and the fiurst one pulled right through. So its no longer a honey-do repair.
Again this is PLASTER ON SHEET ROCK not Plaster on lathe or mesh construction.
Heck it may be easier just to rip the living room ceiling out and do drywall and tie into the plaster walls somehow but I am no construction tradesman.
BTW east side is Cincinnati eastside not Batavia Beechmont Eastside. Thanks.
