I live in the Erlanger area and I'm looking for someone who could weld in my ladder rack that I got from Harbor Freight. If anyone one knows someone who could possibly do this please let me know.:bigthumb

Weld it together,or weld it to the truck? How thick is this metal?

I need it welded to my inner truck bed. Are you asking the thickness of the truck bed or the thickness of the ladder rack?

I thought those things bolted to the truck. Im just wondering if I need a 220v welder or if a 110 mig will work.
Which one do you have? the 250 pound capacity or the 800 pound capacity?

They do bolt to the truck but I had to have them cut off when I got my other truck and lost the bolts and inserts. I have the 250lb. ladder rack. Since I no longer have the bolts I need the rack welded on, I'm not sure if it would work anyway lol.

You could definently weld that with 110v welder. Just use flulx core wire and crank it up. Might have to do 2 passes a root and a cover but with that little bit of weight and that thin of metal a 110v would work.

You ever up near West Chester? I have a welder at home and can travel, but that adds up quick in beer.
