How many SBZ members carry a pocket knife daily? My guess is that a significant portion carry pocket knives because we DIY people need them! :D

My new Benchmade Volli just arrived. After the pictures I moved the pocket clip to the other side for left-handed carry. The Volli is the perfect size for a carry knife. It definitely looks better than my old knife, a Doug Ritter RSK Griptilian.

The finish on the Volli's S30V blade is nicer than that of my old knife. Tooling marks can still be seen in the blade, but that doesn't bother me for a working knife. The Volli is noticeably thinner than the Griptilian. The scales have horizontal ridges milled into them. Griptilian scales are too smooth. The Volli scales fixed that problem.

Griptilian scales are also plain on the bottom or 'belly'. The Volli is nicely sculpted to give a better purchase on the handle.

Even though I've only had the Volli an hour, I'm already very happy with it.

My New Benchmade Volli, with a S30V blade.

Very cool Rob. I didn't know that you could have custom engraving done on them from the factory.

Show the other side, I always like benchmade because the pocket hook was all the way up allowing it to stay flush in your pocket

Nice, what's a unit like that cost? With engraving of coarse!

Rick, with laser engraving, the knife is $105.92 plus shipping. The total, to the door, is $113.87.

Knifeworks has an excellent reputation.

***Notice the coupon code on the Knifeworks website.***
Benchmade sets the price that their knives can be advertised. Knifeworks must honor that advertised price. They get around that by offering a coupon code. The price for this knife on eBay and Amazon, and everywhere else, is $136 plus engraving plus shipping.

The BR549 coupon code saves $39! :D

I forgot to mention that this is a spring assisted knife. It is not a switchblade. I recorded a quick cellphone video and uploaded it to YouTube.

Here it is:

Very nice,

I have a SOG Flash II that I have carried everyday for about 8-9 years now.

I'm looking for a nice spring assisted replacement. I will check this one out.

Thank you for sharing.

I like my Kershaw leek. Extremely sharp, fast and small. I may have to look into these for something a little bigger

Looks very nice. I roll with a Spyderco Military with a S30V blade. When a smaller knife is due I run a Spyderco Native, fully serrated.

My favorite is a Benchmade 32 Morpho, though I'm considering adding a Zero Tolerance 560 or 801 to the collection. A Lionsteel TiSpine would be a really awesome gift, as would a Sebenza.

I carry a SOG blink everyday, it's extremely small and light. You won't even know its in your pocket. I have several SOG s but this is the one I like best for everyday use.
