Ok I just picked up an 03 Cobra and Im wanting to get a drag wheel setup. I have yet to check what rear brakes are on the car since it does have a solid rear axle already. Front is the factory Cobra brakes.

Im wanting black Alumastars with the 1 pc in the front. Anyone have any pictures or info on bs needed?

Black alumastars 2.0 in 17x4 15x10 are the sickest set up. I've wanted those since I bought my car but have stuck the money in it elsewhere. Couldn't justify the price tag for the handful of times I make it to the track each year. if you don't have the GT brakes on that solid I'd find the brackets and change it. Cheap and easy then run 15 inch wheel with out any clearance issue

I have black 17in alumastars fronts and black 15x10 6.5 bs billet specialties on rear with irs. if you have cobra rear brakes u can do 15 with some grinding to the calipers and maximum motorsport steel braided brake lines. nice ride by the way

Ill get more pictures later today hopefully.

As for the car, its pretty much stock. It has a 2.8 pulley, x pipe and Borla cat back, solid axle with 3.55 gear, tubular k member, caster camber plates, lowering springs, Steeda CAI, and a MGW shifter. Its going to Precision Autosports next Wednesday for some dyno time and to get started on it. Looking for some 9.50's and drive it anywhere!

just get the brake lines for the 03 cobra they are the same. the difference is the banjo bolt and the part of the line that bolts on to the caliper is a lot more low profile, as for the wheels il pass. lol

You can run weld 15in weld RTS without spending 200$ on the mm brakelines if u get them with the medium mounting pads.

well the brake lines are 140, and have u put your wheels on with out issues yet? in my opinion its worth the extra to run a 10 in wheel. let us no if your wheels bolt on without and modifications.....

I tried the 15x10 with 6 inch bs and they hit pretty good on the banjo bolt. Also the block on the line is hitting too. I didnt try real hard yet to see what it is going to take to make them fit. I did order a set of mm 1 inch hubcentric spacers and will be running a set of 15x3.5 alumastars with 1.75 bs. If it works. If not ill use them on my white car. I'll keep you posted on what I figure out.

that will work great on the front, but that's why I said its best to just spend the buck on the lines they fit awesome with no grinding.

That's probably what Ill do for the rear. Maybe this weekend I can tear into it!
