Is there anywhere around the Dayton are that sells it, other than Duncan Oil in beaverceek? There used to be a pump in Xenia but it was bought out by Valero and they stopped selling it.

At the station in Xenia I was able to pump it directly in my car. I'd just need 3 or 4 gas cans if I wanted to go to Duncan to fill up.

Lmao, that'd be awesome! Then I could be a mobile fuel delivery service! I just want to try it for an experiment. Not going to be running it too much.

Do not let DOT catch you doing this. That has bad news and fines written all over it.

It's has to do with the size of be container. I don't really deal with it so I don't recall the exact number but under a certain size can be considered materials of trade but over a certain size and you are subject to hazmat shipping regulations. I remember reading that Florida was cracking down on racers for that a while back.

I thought what Citgo in Xenia sold was leaded. I don't know of any station locally that sells unleaded race fuel.

Yup,what he said. They usually transport O/R diesel fuel in those and like to check those often.

It may have been. I had a 72 Chevelle at the time so I didn't pay attention.

That works... I'm heading to Dayton Performance in a few days anyway. I'm assuming you aren't allowed to pump directly into the vehicle? The only way I got away with it in Xenia is that I knew someone who worked there.

The leaded fuel will f up your O2 sensors.

That's why I was looking for unleaded. When I bought leaded it was for a 72 Chevelle SS.

Could always go E85. Now that I found a pump 9 miles away I'm going to be burning 105 octane corn.

It is. Sunoco, Turbo Blue, Shell, VP, and a few others offer unleaded I just don't know of any gas stations that have it.

According to their fuel finder there is a Sunoco station in Franklin that sells race fuel.

How hard is that to switch over to e85? Last time I looked into it I had a carb'd Camaro and the changeover was pretty easy. I imagine Fuel injections a bit more complicated.

I'm down in Carlisle every now and then. Ill have to check it out. Mike is going to retune my chip though so I don't think ill have to worry about a race gas to get completely rid of my detonation. But it'd be fun to have a hotter tune setup available and take it out to the track on 105 sometime.

Injectors, bigger pump, lines that with handle the alky, then tune.

The other issue is in Ohio you can get E70-E85 depending on the expected weather.

Now E85 from a drum cheap race fuel when compared to the $10-15 a gallon race stuff.

Cam2 is Sunoco...260 GT is 100 octane unleaded, oxygenated as well.

Standard 93, 260 GT and 260 GTX are available at Mid Ohio. Holy Crap they charge a premium at the track.

I'll get a pic next time I'm up there crewing.

Lol, you guy are speaking a foreign language. Like I said, last time I bought it was leaded for a Chevelle. I'm going to have to do some more research. My buddy races at Kil-Kare all the time so ill just go with him to Duncan Oil next time he gets some and talk to them.
