AR93 Plugs

Anyone running AR93 plugs? I've found some things online but nothing really gives a gap for the SN-95 4.6 2Vs. Mostly for Lightnings and Cobras. Here's my dilemma... if i am dealing with a little detonation now, will the colder plugs make it better or worse?

I've run Autolite 724's and XP104's as well as NGK TR55's in the old engine I can't remember what we went with in the new one. Its either 1 or 2 heat ranges cooler than stock. From the factory I think the spark plug gap is .054"

I know the AR93s are 3 steps colder than stock, and the cobra forums are saying to gap it at .032 which seems a little too small. No mention of a gap for the 2 valve.

Off for now. I was going to throw them in since they're just laying around. I won't e hooking the bottle up for a while.

Without the nitrous I wouldn't go anymore than 1 step colder.

Ok thank you. That's what I was wondering. With the noises I'm already having I didn't want to make anything worse.

if you have good wires/coil/msd ignition you can set the gap a little higher 56-57

I have MSD wires but stock coil packs and I'm looking at how to set up an MSD ignition. I'm just going to throw some platinums in it for now and keep the AR93s for when I have the nitrous set up correctly.

Skip the platinum plugs. Plain old copper plugs work great. Don't waste money on after market coil packs either. Most people seem to have more trouble with them.
