So I have a 2 5/8" spot in my dash and was thinking of getting a wideband. All my gauges are phantoms, so the autometer 5879 will fit aesthetically.

It has one o2 sensor, so my question is which bank would I want to put it on and how reliable is a system that only monitors one bank?

Tyically drivers side.

I would say not very reliable if you had my issue where only one side went lean.

Alright. Is there any setup that I can get with 2 sensors that I can use with a matching gauge.

Dynojet? I think they have a 2 sensor one gauge system.

I'll look and see if I can run the autometer gauge with those

This is the one I use with the O2 sensor on the driver side. Its been pretty accurate and no issues. Easy install.

I was going to start another thread on this but figured Id just add to this one.

I have a Innovate LC1 Wideband 02 Im about to hook up and was wondering if I could use the rear o2 bungs in my Mac Prochamber or should I have a bung welded in and get closer to the engine? My rear o2's are turned off in my tune already.

Is that why my AF meter jumps around like its on speed? Or is it supposed to do that? Is it the sensor or the gauge that makes it "wideband"?

You want it to be as close to the motor as possible. I have mine on the driverside just after the collector and before the cat. But I have mid length headers.

It shouldn't be jumping around. Unless your reving the motor. Do you have a Wideband or a Narrowband. I bought a cheap narrowband off ebay once and thats what it did. If its idling or if your just cruising then it should stay close to the mid 14's.

Hmm so I guess I just need to have this bung I have sitting here welded close to the Manifold to ProChamber Flange? I was hoping Id be able to get away with it being in the factory location. Figured I wouldnt be so lucky with that but never can be too sure so I asked.

Hey itll be easier to just take this H Pipe to a shop with me off the car anyway so nows the time.

That's what I did. I did it myself. Took my mid pipe to work, drilled a hole and welded it in. Saved myself $80. If your interested let me know.

Lol.. Ummmmm mine goes from red, momentarily to yellow, then to green... I feel like I'm driving a Civic with it blasting in my face.
I guess it's a narrowband. Can u just throw a wideband 02 sensor in it? Or do I need a new gauge as well?

If it doesnt have an o2 sensor with it then it's probably a narrowband. I'd look into getting a wideband setup. I'm not sure if the narrowband gauge will work with the wideband sensor.
