Wtb: 5.0 carb and carb intake.

Looking for a carb and intake for my truck. Someone converted it to efi and did a horrible job so I want to switch it back to stock. Let me know what you have. Thanks.

I have a whole box full of edelbrock 600 electric choke carbs in my shed. You need it. give me 100 bucks for all of the pieces I have.

Should be enough parts to rebuild 2 whole carbs. Ill also throw in the small rebuild kit I have for them. And a 1 inch spacer.

Ok I just need to find an intake too. And I'll get a hold of you. Unless someone can help with my current setup. It will start and idle rough but as soon as you give it gas it instantly dies.

Year,model,what kind of aftermarket parts are on it,who made it,who tuned it,what all is done to it?

It's an 86 ford f150 carburated all stock but someone put speed density efi intake wiring and ecu in. They left the existing harness. It was a backyard job so not sure on tune or who did it.

I should probably test my fuel pressure next chance I get.

When I got the truck it had about an inch of mud laying on the entire motor ( it was a mud truck). When I got it it ran and drove. It sat over the winter and now runs like shit. I figured that I had an intake leak bc the mud dried out the gaskets and they failed.

If someone put EFI on a carbed motor, did they put the in-tank pump and other EFI hardware on it too? A carb fuel pump isn't going to keep up.

Fuel pump is something I need to look into. I never even thought about that.

I would buy Evil8's intake. His 5.0 made 850rwhp on gt40 heads and a b-cam with that intake...naturally aspirated.
