was just wanting to get a few opinons on primer they have used or heard of and what color the primer should be or if it matters?

I don't know much about buying a gallon of primer but I choose the color of primer I'm going to use off of the base coat. It takes less base coat to cover a primer that's a close match. Black primer for black paint, grey for silvers etc.

Also depends on what your wanting to do with it. They have high builds, epoxies the list and colors go on and on. If your just protecting some bare metal use epoxy or self etching. If your wanting to do some bodywork and blocking use high build.

As far as brands it just depends on how much you want to spend they make some decent inexpensive primers. Evercoat uro is not bad.

Yeah ill be doing bodywork so the high build will prolly be best and as far as money goes i want it to look good without emptying my pockets which is gonna be kind of hard to do i know but it will be painted Bimini Blue i was thinking grey or white primer? Thanks for the replys
