new to nitrous

I have a 95 gt, has gt40 heads, tfs track heat, intake, e303 cam, 24lb inj,, 75 mm maf and tb, adj fpr, mid length headers and 2.5 back through a xpipe and slps, auto w/stock converter and 4.10 gears...might weld the rear end.

Where should I start? What size shot should I use and I need a wet system right? I wanna keep the motor alive for a bit lol aiming for low 12s. Any help appreciated fellas.

Are you gonna spray off the line? I'm gonna run a colder plug, 93(do anyway), and probably a 125 shot on mine going to talk to Adam about tuning it on the bottle. The auto guys could tune in about spraying the stock auto off the line I know nothing about that.

Run a step colder autolite plug gapped @ .032.. set your base timing back to 9deg and spray 150. Make sure u aren't running a stock fuel pump. Pick up a walbro 255 or aeromotive stealth 340

N.O.S, nitrous express,cold fusion,nitrous outlet, basically anything except for zex. Make sure u get a purge and a bottle heater and if you don't mind the extra expense a window switch is a good idea

I run a Zex kit but it's basically just the solenoids I have an msd window switch that tells it when to spray as opposed to the "brain box" in the Zex kit

Would a NOS nitrous controller be the smart way to go? I am considering putting nitrous on my sons car and was told it makes it a lot easier to control off the line.

I plan on picking up a nitrous works kit this weekend, used but it's all there and looks clean. Come with the msd rpm switch and a hurst shifter with a button, has a bottle heater, remote opener, throttle plate and I think a purge kit. Ill post a pic after work.

Not unless your running a huge shot and a controller is really hard on the solenoids.

I wouldn't weld the rear end. Have the posi rebuilt by someone who knows how many steels and frictions you can cram in there. If your not looking to buy an aftermarket posi or spool.

I hang out with too many 240sx guys I guess lol ill probably rebuild it. Its embarassing having to pit it in reverse, spin the wheels then throw it back in drive and light em up haha seems to work pretty well.

Who rebuilds posi units around here?
