When reality set that the website really wasn't worth anything more than sentimental value, now it's just being shut down.

I think we're both making the same point, just saying it differently. This site is just poorly run. The owner and admins don't know, or don't want to admit, that it is.

Any business who saw that it's customers really wanted t-shirts and was willing to pre-order them would say "okay, we'll make t-shirts". Or, an enthusiast-run site that saw that it's members wanted shirts would say "okay, we'll make shirts". Instead we get this bullshit.

You can run a great website that's a business, and you can run a great website that's a public service. What you can't do is run a half-assed version of both, and that's what SBZ has become.

Once a price is determined you will have a couple of weeks to get your order in thru PayPal. Once the orders are in, the shirts will be printed - you snooze, you lose. (and if you don't have PayPal. find someone that does and give him/her your cash to order for you)

The biggest issue is that in years past the shirts have been such a cluster fuq that many that ordered never paid. Holly was kind enough to order extras and got stung on that as well as getting stuck with the unpaid leftovers. Vinny had the same problem, he just never said anything to anyone.

Plans are to keep the cost as low as possible, there maybe a few bucks that go to keep this site running if anything is left over at all. I'll post as soon as I have all the details.

I will pass on the shirt now. I joined this place and have met a lot of good people. Thats one of the biggest reasons I still come on here is to see if someone I know is building something new or changing there car around. I hit the site several times every day to check the posts. I didnt know Vinny all that well at all but I think he would be ashamed at where this place has gotten to. There is usually nothing but bitching and complaining anymore. What Craig started, and I dont really give a flying fuck wheather he was right or wrong, stirred up more good interest on this board than has been in a year or more. If things continue to stay the same as they are I see more people continue to not come and visit the site and Vinny's memory will disappear with it.
