got called a liar today by the fire chef

so last night I got my run check from my fire dept (witch is just a reimbursement for gas) its $10 a run and $5 for standby well we only get them every 3months well I don't care about the money yeah its nice but I could give a shit well they used to mark the stub on the check with the number of standbys and the number of runs well I ask the chef and he blew up on me and i told him again that I was just curious about the number of runs not the number of the check he said BULL S%#% its always about the F^$^ money.

I'm writing my resignation letter now I wont be called a liar, I'm also thinking about blowing the whistle on some of the practices at the department the EPA,NFPA, our insurance company and the state fire marshal would not be happy
