After more thought on it, I don't feel like putting an almighty LS motor in this poor quality, low rent, garbage chassis. This one is going to the scrapper.

While you're at the scrap yard you could get another LS motor for that Chevy ;) there's plenty of those motors laying around down there lol

You guys crack me up with your knowledge of the real story on that engine. It took putting my car on blocks for 2 years for ya to catch up...good job.
dsmawd350
03-12-2013, 03:42 PM
Is that the engine you told me had a sonny bryant billet crank, olivers custom diamond pistons etc etc? that you tediously put together and were running a safe tune up on low boost?

Yea unfortunately the f body pan does not work with the team z. The sump starts too far forward and hits the k member crossbar.

It hit my PA racing one to but I modified it;)

The pan or the k member?

K member, basically cut the center bar in half and then plating it on the back side flat with some gussets.

That's my LS1 restrictor. LS1s make way too much powah for these jank Ford Chassis, so I restrict the power with a 400lb intake.
