MMR (who'm is one of my sponsor's) has a great car.

It is however, a back halved race car. The same body they have been using for years. The combo is a sand filled block.

As far as specifiying. It is what it is.

No GT / Boss 302 that has come off the line since the inception of the coyote. Has ran a quicker time.

The closest was Evolutions 3400lb C4 Transbraked race car, with an F! and Nitrous.

And i took that record yesterday in a 3850lb street car.

Hate if you want to hate. Fact is, as of right now, it is the fastest car GT / Boss 302, period.

i didn't start the thread, someone else did,

there are other people that follow the 5.0 stuff, and know the record has been held on the 5.0 for over 2 years by evo

so, it was a pretty big accomplishment, i wasn't ever trying to say my car was the fastest stock suspension cars

there are a ton of bad ass cars, but for this platform, that has been out for 3 years now, it is the quickest right now of any combination

Nobody single handedly. Correct me if im wrong but BES built the shortblock. Somebody else did the heads. I think finishline did some of the assembly, bolted it all in the car got.it fored up etc. Rob at rouge race cars did the cage. Tuned by lund ?

i think we are going to try air to water intercooler first

i'm down 6 degrees of timing in 4th gear with the higher iat's, probably 120 to 150 hp

we'll fab that up and give it a shot.

i still have a smaller pulley to throw on it

i think with the timing, and a smaller pulley she'll go 3-4 tenths quicker at full weight

checked in on the scales @ 3862 today

8.2's in the quarter, i think we can get there with the 2.5 pulley and the air water, i'm down 6 degrees of timing in 4th gear with the iat's from the ysi

right now, 5.65 in the 1/8, 8.75 in the 1/4. I don't think the air / water will pick the car up any the first half, we are getting 22 or so degrees out of the car, maybe it'll pick up to 23, degrees, and give us another .05.

the 2nd half i think we'll pick up a little over a tenth, so maybe .2 total. seeing a high 5.9 in the 1/8

that would be in decent air around sea level. the 2.5" pulley should pick it up the first half of the track for sure.

i'd love to see a 5.2 1/8 once we are all dialed in,

be on dot's,

be able to drive a reasonable distance, including stop and go traffic.

I just totaled up the receipts i have spent this year for truck/trailer maintenance, expenses for the trip, and upgrades to the car over the off season, and profit is at $1500. There are 5 more races to go, with only 2 of them being more than 5-6 hours away, and the maintenance is pretty much out of the way already.....everything from here on out will pretty much be profit or upgrade money.

I know what you meant, but you are going to pay money for your car no matter if it is a street or racecar, so not entirely sure what the argument is there. Go fast parts cost the same and don't care what the definition is of the car they end up on.
