I was watching them dyno the Daytona Prototypes at Mid Ohio several years ago, so much horsepower and so little weight they had one hell of a time getting the wheels to connect with the drum. Several competitors had half their crew sitting on the back of the car.

Yeah because cars transfer a bunch of weight on the dyno, not to mention that drum is not exactly an ideal surface for traction.

Jeff's dyno has also been ran 5 days a week since 2005, the drum is super smooth. Everything else on the dyno has been replaced but the drum. I wish we could re knurl it or something.

If I see the rear of your car it will be when I'm turning on the first return road after running a 4 sec pass and it took you that long to catch up.... Lets face it.. My car will mph in the 1/8 probably 30ish higher than you in the 1/4....

People that don't have a clue should remain quiet. That car made it out to the track rental that day because it had to. It had a broken cam dowel pin from the first pass. My fault. That won't happen again. The car had never been scaled, no shock adjustments, just winging it. Btw, that 11sec pass was after blowing the tires off 3 times and coasting. Still hit the stripe faster than your car will go, I think 143 was the mph.... See you in spring.
