I have never been to this. Is it worth checking out? Or just something to do?

Its well worth going even if you dont need anything! Sometimes you can find killer deals and other times nothing but its still a huge swap meet and a good time!

Well, If anyone is interested, I have my AB roller and a shit ton of parts to go with it for sale.
Also my 90 Kenny Brown Super LX, Runs Drive but is has a fair amount of blowby on the rings and I believe the main seal is gone because the last time I drove it last summer it was puking oil REALLY bad. I only live about 20min from the fairgrounds.:drunk:

I am going but I wish that they would get back on the Saturday-Sunday schedule. Last year it was the same only on Easter weekend and by comparison to the Fall meet there was only a fraction of the vendors that showed.
Friday night seems like a bad plan. How long have they been doing that?
devous1
03-05-2013, 09:05 PM
Usually half the vendors are packing it up pretty early on Sundays. I usually go Sat morn. Then go back Sun to lowball the vendors as they are packing. I have only ever bought two major things there.

There is a guy over by Zanesville, that parts out SN95 and New Edge Mustangs. He always has Cobra and Mach motors. I buy some of my parts off him and last Fall at the swap he said he sold 3 4V motors in one month. For him that was really odd because he asks pretty big money for them and sits on them for along time. I thought about loading my trailer with a couple cars and parts.

Would you happen to have the two mounting brackets that mount on the 8.8 and hold the brake caliper in place. This is for my project 03 Mach, I also need a very clean rear bumper cover.

I'd like to get a few guys in the Columbus area to meet up on 4/6 sometime after lunch. I would like ot get a group to cruise up together late morning Saturday if that is possible. If it rains we can go by other vehicles but still hang together. Doesn't matter to me either way. Speak up if interested.
Maybe we could get DEVOUS1 and/or BLOWN86LX to give us a place to meet them and cruise in from there.

Do you mean to recruit members like some of the other clubs, or to sell stuff. I know I always have parts to get rid off but not enough to get a booth. I have a ton of Mach1 stuff including 2 motors to unload.

This is what my friend recommended, he lives in Grovetucky (no offense). I've never been there but can scout it out if anyone is interested.

Any chance you have a driveshaft for a 70 Mach 1 with a c4 and a 9 inch or do you have late model Mach 1 parts?

both, A. it would give us all a meet up spot. B if every one that wantted to sell parts would chip in 10-15 bucks Im sure we would have enough to pay for the both we just have to keep good records C we could have a laptop set up so ppl can join in on the fun:popcorn: D I could give out free mamagrams:bigthumb

The Thurman definately rocks, parking in that are can be a PIA. I haven't been in the in about 10yrs. We were gonna go weeks ago and it was packed so we went to Schmidts.
I would def sell some parts, just do it like the antique stores put a small post it note on each part with a seller number and price. Is it too late this time around? You could also sell SBZ T-shirts and stickers.
