Here's the story. I had the motor out of my TR that had a few mods and only 20k easy miles. So I started looking for a Mach roller or one that was slightly fd on the cheap to stick the TR motor in. This car was meant to be for my daughter as a summer driver.

Well I found this up north, it was supposed to have a motor issue and that was it. Well as usual it turned out to be pretty rough. The main thing I wanted to do was get rid of any rust before I moved foward with it. So we stripped the car down and went from there.

Meanwhile, I found the 03 DSG Mach1 with 4600mi that was at a really good price. I couldn't pass it up. So I picked it up for my daughter.

Now I'm stuck with this POS AB Mach. I can't decide to just part it out, dump it or just keep moving foward on the project. Keep in mind I have all the stock parts off my cherry TR and enough aftermarket parts to make it a pretty kickass mediocre car, I even have a spare V7.

So the car is currently on the rotisserie, I blasted the whole bottom of the car and the front wheel wells. The under carriage has been coated with POR-15 and sprayed with Eastwood Extreem Chassis Black Satin. The front wheel wells have been painted with POR-15 silver then topped with color match AB. I rattle canned this which is going to be covered by the liner anyway. I just don't want rust coming back.

I was also looking for some aftermarket rear upper and lower control arms. It's been awhile since I've bought a set and do not remember them being that damn expensive I think the MM set was over 700? So I shot the stockers with aluminum oxide to knock the dust off and coated them with POR-15 and Eastwood Chassis Silver.

The next step will be to hang the rear 8.8 which is already built, and the stock K member so I can get the car rolling again and off the rotisserie.

I also have a used Glenns Sumped tank that is ready to go on.

Once we are back to the roller stage the car is goin somewhere to have the engine compartment detailed/painted.

Looks like fun!! Check out the J&M LCA's. I picked up a set from AmericanMuscle for like 160 and they are almost just like the MM pieces.

I checked them they do look good, I think I'm just gonna leave the suspension stock unless I find something slightly used or a hell of a good deal.

I know with the fender liner in no one will ever see this but, my goal is a little detail work but mostly rust prevention.

Well for some reason today everyone is interested in this project and wants to buy it. I really don't want to part anything out untill the body is sold. For the right price I may sell the TR motor and just rebuild the one out of the AB with forged internals. The hood and shaker for the AB is all there.

But here is where I am, the car has clear Ohio title not salvage or rebuild it was never wrecked, just too rusty for me.

I really want to ALL my Mach1 parts as a package and not part the crap out. Here is what I have (partial list) I have Mach1 parts in every corner of my garge and warehouse.

Roller I have all body parts except front and rear bumper covers. I do think I still have a 01 cobra front cover in my trailer but would have to check. The interior is all there except the drivers seat has the normal bolster wear AKA frickin hole.

Motor and tranny out of the AB, 6?k motor had an issue. The original owner had an issue and pulled the valve covers. It appears they couldn't get the drivers side past the hydroboost and stopped. The motor turns freely but the loves on the drivers side rear piston are rough? Tranny, I have no idea other than it's there.

Motor out of the TR 23K, was my wifes car and had a V2 on it for less than 100miles. PP intake by OrangeBlast, Aero fuel rails, Meziere electric pump 100miles, Bassani Midlengths. Motor I guarantee good.

Stock rear end,

Rear out of TR, new axles, carrier, new Ford 4:10s and rear cover. It was just rebuilt by CRT and hasn't been used.

Heater core and all electronics out of TR, the TR is gutted and running BS3

Suspension off the TR 23K miles

3 Sets of coil springs
Eibachs 500 mi
Stockers 60k
Stockers 23k

A couple factory driveshafts for auto

Factory set of wheels and super shitty tires, the wheels are not the best.

You know you wanna sell that 01 Cobra bumper separately. :D Ill give you my GT bumper and cash for it so you have a bumper to throw on the car.

I like the 01 Bumper too, I know I still have the lights. I'm not for sure I still have it, I'll try to remember when I go to work tomorrow.

Well, I picked up my TR from CRT today and alot of the spare parts off it. I'll have to dig through the boxes but two things that come to mind.

Carbon Fiber 4V Valve covers

American Racing 3" stainless X pipe.
