They will look into how to make it safer when that situation occurs. It doesn't happen often but when it does man that's dangerous. Interested to see how the racing with the new cars will be off of the restrictor plates...

It looks to be one of those freak things that happened. the gate that was there seems to be what caused the front end of the car to get ripped off. What they really need to do is get rid of the restrictor plates and go with a car that has more drag. That way the cars will actually have passing power and it will be more about tire wear and fuel mileage. As it is now it is pretty much up to only how you do on the pit stops and staying in line till the final lap.
