Sold it. Building a little motor with big compression, big rpm, big boost, monster heads, big lifters, 6 stage dry sump and a whole bunch of pretty billet $hit that will only been seen if it exits the block. :lol: May go back with the twins for a bit but eventually will go single for X275.

I've got a ton of projects going on right now. Just had the heads redone on the wife's vert. I added an f cam valve springs and a Vortech to it. Hopefully picking up a kenne bell for my lightning on Sunday. Biggest project for me is my boat. Adding hydraulic steering, captains call exhaust and having it wrapped next week. After it comes back from getting wrapped I'm going to switch my out drive out for a stronger drive and turning the boost up on the boat.

LOL Funny thing is my car is proven single digits on only 500hp NA. NOT a 1100hp 11sec car like your last build ;) so I would wait to hire anyone till your car proves itself

Doing it with a turbo, again. I have no interest in YSIs. But just out of curiosity how much na hp do you think these motors need to make 1200 flywheel with a ysi? Seems there are some 281 mod ysi cars going mid to low 8s on a ysi at 32-3400 lbs. Air flow is air flow. Yes a moron can make that kind of power with a 600hp 427 and it requires more skill to do it with low hp small cube motor, but it can be done. Call Kurgan if you need proof. Want to see a sub 300hp turbo motor make 1000+ whp then swing by the shop this week. :bigthumb

Finally got the upr kmember in last weekend, along with setting the engine back an inch. Also, put a rear sear delete in a couple of months ago and picked up a set of stiff-sidewall slicks and 10" wheels to mount them on. Engine and trans. will stay the same this season,may swap the intake at some point. I am hoping the engine will last another year, or at least until I finish putting together my spare!

Just depends, look at the 4G63 cars, Shepracing here in ohio that AWD 4banger makes something crazy like 1300hp or some shit. NA i bet it would make 200hp.
I would say you should have any problems making 1200 but that dont mean that because its a bigger CUI that it will make more HP. You just have to have a bigger blower/turbo to fill the cylenders at that same HP #
