im giving my 06 dodge 1500 5.7 mega cab a make over. here is a quick list of the new plan.

26 inch american force dually wheels
2012 dually bed "short"
SRT hood and bumper
big ass set of air horns
sweet looking interior
full air bag suspension
duramax motor and allison trans

i have the full air ride kit ordered from airbagit.com it should be here in two weeks. i ordered the satin black wrap for it should be here in a week. the new bed will be here tuesday hopefully. i am waiting to do the motor swap until all the rest of the stuff is done because i drive it everyday and kinda need it. the interior is done already ill get pics soon. i am going to make a new rear end cover tomorrow and incorperate the watts link into it to get rid of the panhard bar. i am looking for a srt hood and front bumper still so if anyone has a hookup on them please let me know.

Looks nasty man, makes me miss my mega cab, curious though y a dmax and not cummins, a member on here 95civic2005(Brian) had a 06 mega that was a manual and made 902hp@ the tires fuel only and woulda ran 11s with a auto

thanks, i just want a set of train horns, i gues the air bag world uses them because they already have air on the car/truck i guess. and the duramax choice was mainly because i bought the truck at a good price and already had it, plus i want the efi live lope . ive had cummins and they are great. i just want something a little different i guess. everyone seems to put a cummins in another truck but very rairly see a duramax in something other than a chevy expecially a 1500 dodge mega cab.

Manual with dual disk iron clutch and 8500lbs... Easier said than done, it ran 12.6 @ 760, never got ran at 902, the big ol g56 in the trucks don't shift like no t5 lol

I love bagged duallys but you lost me at Duramax. Cummins or Powerstroke all day. I love those wheels though it looks sick cant wait to see it done.

How much would it cost for the wheels i got 26 independence with scorpion tires 305-30-26 and adapters ect.

I have to call them for prices unfortunately but the 22's i just otdered came in wheels and tires like several hundred less than buying direct from them of course ots local so taxes eould apply depends more so on tire choice as where it would fall

i ordered a new SRT hood and SRT front bumper from cervines today along with a rear roll pan from street customs. i should be getting them next week. i also talked to the airbag people and it that stuff should be getting shipped this friday.

Thats alot of work, Ive considered putting airbags on my 06 3500 Ram. It rides pretty smooth but the trailer w 2 cars drops it alittle when you have to pull a car all the way to the front of the trailer. I'd love to have some of those badass wheels too.

My truck is strickly a work/tow truck. No thrills not much of anything other than CD player. It doesn't even have cruise. There was a guy delivered a Buell to me in a black Chevy that had a really bad sounding Duramax in it. I was highly impressed with it, I know the GM guys love them. I'm not much of a Dodge fan but the Cummings has never let me down other than blowing a fuel line (dealer fault). That thing will start first time reguardless of how cold it is, I can't say that about any of the Fords Ive had. And it will pull my 48' with two cars up anything east of the Mississippi without slowing down.

It's gonna be a cool truck when your done!
