Our local walmart will only let you buy 3 boxes per customer . Doesnt matter if its all different kinds or not , 3 boxes per customer. Sounds like i will keep going to my local gun store.

Local gun stores were coming into the Walmarts up here (not sure if this was the case everywhere) and buying all the ammunition they had on the shelves. Ours instituted a 2 box/visit policy to curb this.

They did it last go round too. Limit six boxes per customer.
Ohh well I pass two Wal-marts on the way home from work. That's 12 boxes on the way to work and 12 boxes on the way home.

If they get normal stocks back in anytime soon.

My dad and all his friends reload. Way cheaper and unlimited. I bought a bag of 1000 40 cal empty shells with new primers for 50 bucks. Can't beat it. You just have to be careful and take your time.

The counter guy told me a box was a box, no matter how many rounds were in it. With a wink he offered to sell me a bulk box before he opened it. Wish I had the money then.

True, but I haven't seen a small rifle or pistol primer on a shelf or in stock for months now.
Found some 800-x powder a few weeks ago, but haven't seen much pistol powder either.

That looks exactly like my local wal mart ammo case. It has been that way for 7 weeks straight.
