Rundown:
03 GT, TR3650
Installing brakes, HPS pads, SS lines, quadrant, adjuster this weekend.
Already have gears, FLSFC, plenum, TB, H pipe, exhaust, intake pipe, springs/shocks/struts, and a short throw.
No maintenance or broken parts need replacing/updating
Got a $150 gift card from CJ, will spend up to $350 combined.
Can't decide what I'll get a better bang/buck with:
Shorty headers (no long tubes, don't want to replace the H pipe) ($160)
or
Aluminum driveshaft ($185)
Not performance related:
Aluminum diff cover, driveshaft loop ($66)
(Easy fill/drain of diff fluid, no loss of control if driveshaft goes insane)
I'm personally tied between the headers and Driveshaft - driveshaft is an easier install and should let the engine spin up faster, headers will change the sound and gain a little bit of low end torque.
No, long tubes will not be installed, thank you for your suggestions to do so though.
