Found a c4 I want to build but the guy is not sure what it came out of. Numbers on it are d4d -7006- aa. Anyone have a book or know where I can look it up. Want to make sure it was behind a v8. Thanks

per google search, D4DP-7006-AA was designed for 1974 Maverick but look like it was also used in 75-78 Mustang II's.

Make sure to use the proper bellhousing for the car. 71 motor and C4 into a 75 Stang fits with stock exhaust, but fitting headers was a NIGHTMARE due tot he different starter location.

Thanks. Any way to tell if it was in a V8 or I6 from these numbers or do I need to find more numbers on it? Thanks again.

Somewhere I saw other numbers being mentioned, around the modulator or servo, dunno.

Been 25+ years since I had my M II.

Thanks again. Found somewhere online last night that most 4 and 6 cylinders have a "Z" servo.

Transmission I pick up has a B servo. Will this work on a street strip car or should I change it out?
