2007 F250

Had a busted y pipe when I bought it, so I replaced that and added a 5" exhaust from the turbo back. Picked up a STC Livewire tuner/monitor for it too. One battery was going weak so I replaced them both.

What oil are you guys running? What additives?

Motorcraft in the summer and Valvoline Extreme Blue in the winter in my 2000 Powersroke. The synthetic oil in the winter seems to help at startup on cold mornings and after setting at work all day unplugged.

What oil are you guys running? What additives?Used to run any 15W-40 diesel rated oil. Type does not matter. Just CHANGE it on a regular basis as you'll be fine.

As for additives, I've always used Diesel Service fuel treatment in every diesel I've ever owned. Never once had a cold start issue related to gelling.

Also change the fuel filter(s) on a regular basis as well.

BTW, those model F250s are known to have very weak ball joints that don't last worth a shit. So beware of that.

Would you include 03's for the ball joints? My son has a 03 F250 diesel.....
